Rinpoche Speaks
Freddie Wilkinson, Renan Ozturk
An unreleased art film that highlights a private sermon from the venerable Ngawang Tenzing Zangpo Rinpoche, the spiritual leader of the Tenboche Rinpoche and the Sherpa community that lives in the Khumbu valley underneath Mt. Everest. In this short piece, the Rinpoche highlights how climbing the world’s tallest mountains is yet another manifestation of greed, and is parallel to our relationship with the natural world as a whole.
